October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month with Support Sisterz

Behind every breast cancer diagnosis is someone whose life, family, and future are affected. During today’s Board of Supervisors meeting, we recognized October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month and honored Support Sisterz for their dedication to supporting women facing cancer.
Their upcoming Combat Cancer Walk on Saturday, October 17, is a three-mile event bringing neighbors together to celebrate survivors, remember loved ones, and support those still in treatment. It is a meaningful opportunity to show those facing cancer that their community stands with them.
Thank you to Support Sisterz for turning compassion into action and providing support when it matters most.
