Honoring Our Heroes - Veterans Day in the Second District

As your Second District Supervisor, it is with a profound sense of gratitude and respect that I write to you in anticipation of Veterans Day and during Military Family Appreciation Month. This November, we stand united in paying homage to the men and women who have donned the uniform of our armed forces to defend the freedoms we hold dear. Here in the Second District and across Riverside County, we are reminded that the community's sacrifice of our veterans fortifies our community's strength.

Our veterans are more than heroes; they are our neighbors, friends, and family. They have laid the groundwork for the peace and security we enjoy and have set the highest example of service above self. It is our collective responsibility to ensure their sacrifices are remembered and their needs are met with the same selflessness they have shown.

This month, there will be multiple events across the Second District to commemorate Veterans Day. I encourage you to join and engage as we come together to show our veterans that their service is forever engraved in the history and heart of Riverside County.
