The District Two office was pleased to join the City of Riverside for the Veterans Resource Workshop Collaborative, an important event focused on expanding services and strengthening support for veteran outreach specialists in the community.

This collaborative workshop brought together professionals and organizations that serve veterans, offering a platform to hear directly from local, county, and federal partners about the wide range of programs and resources available to those who have served.

Marquis Palmer gave presentations from the City of Riverside Housing and Human Services, Greg Coffos from Riverside County Veteran Services, representatives from the Veterans Affairs Loma Linda HUDVASH and Homeless Outreach Team, Congressman Mark Takano, Gina Marasco from Riverside County Housing and Workforce Solutions, and Maria Delgado from Inland Legal Services.

By sharing knowledge and working together, the event reinforced the community’s collective commitment to ensuring veterans receive the care, housing, legal support, and respect they have earned.
