Certificates
Certificates are for the purpose of acknowledging or honoring an individual or organization for a specific distinction or award. Supervisor Spiegel will sign each certificate. You can also request certificates to be signed by the entire Board of Supervisors. If you are requesting a certificate signed by the Board of Supervisors, please indicate that within your request.
Guidelines: Your request for certificates must be submitted by email or postal mail. If you are submitting your request via email, please make sure to include the required information: the title of the honoree (if any), the honoree/organization's name, and the specific award the honoree/organization is receiving for which you are requesting a certificate. A list of award recipients in a Word or Excel document is highly recommended.
Proclamations
Proclamations are formal legal-sized documents that each member of the Board of Supervisors signs. Proclamations are created for a variety of purposes, such as significant community events, celebratory months/days/weeks, holidays, and the recognition of ceremony honorees.
Guidelines: Your request for a proclamation must be submitted by email or postal mail. Be sure to include a copy of the honoree's bio, the community event, and the month(s)/day(s)/week(s) and holiday(s) being honored for a proclamation to be completed. In addition, you may provide sample wording you would like included in the proclamation.
