The City of Canyon Lake recently held its City Council Reorganization meeting, which celebrated key milestones and recognized exceptional leaders for their service to the community.

Outgoing Mayor Dale Welty was honored for his dedicated leadership since December 2023, while Council Member Jennifer Dain was recognized for her impactful contributions since her appointment in June 2021. Both were commended for their outstanding service to Canyon Lake.

The meeting also marked the appointment of new leadership. Congratulations were extended to Mark Terry, who will serve as the city's new Mayor, and Kasey Castillo, appointed Mayor Pro Tem. Their leadership inspires optimism for the city's future.

Additionally, the council welcomed its newest member, Josh Steeber, who will bring a fresh perspective and dedication to the role.

The reorganization signals a bright future for Canyon Lake as its leaders continue to guide the community toward positive growth and progress.
