Operation Green Light Ceremony

Supervisors Karen Spiegel and Chuck Washington invite residents to honor veterans at the Operation Green Light ceremony on November 5 at 5:00 p.m. at the County Administration Center (4080 Lemon St., Riverside). The ceremony will kick off the county’s week-long tribute, lighting the building in green from November 5 to 11 to symbolize gratitude and support for our veterans. All are welcome to attend this meaningful ceremony as we stand united in recognition of their service and sacrifices.

Alongside the National Association of Counties (NACo) and the National Association of County Veterans Service Officers (NACVSO), Riverside County joins 3,069 counties, parishes, and boroughs in Operation Green Light to show support for veterans by lighting our buildings green from November 4-11, 2024. By shining a green light, county governments and our residents let veterans know they are seen, appreciated, and supported.  Learn more...
