Supervisor Spiegel had the privilege of joining the City of Corona and the Corona Chamber at the Patriot Day remembrance ceremony at the Corona Historic Civic Center. The event featured keynote speaker Thane Thompson, U.S. Army Lt. Col., Retired and a 9/11 survivor, who shared his remarkable story of survival.

Listening to Mr. Thompson’s firsthand account was both moving and inspiring, a powerful reminder of the bravery, resilience, and strength displayed in the face of unimaginable tragedy. His story prompted deep reflection on the preciousness of life and the importance of coming together to remember and honor those lost on that fateful day.

Thanks to the Corona Chamber and the City of Corona for organizing such a meaningful and poignant ceremony to remember the lives lost and the heroes who emerged from the tragedy.
