Supervisor Spiegel and Local Leaders Celebrate Groundbreaking of the Lakeland Village Library

Joined by esteemed colleagues Suzanne Holland, Director of the Riverside County Office of Economic Development, Barbara Howison, Riverside County Librarian, and Supervisor Jeffries, Supervisor Spiegel was honored to attend and speak at the Lakeland Village Groundbreaking Ceremony earlier this week.
The new library will feature dedicated learning spaces for adults, teens, and children, including a Children’s Reading Room, expanded learning opportunities with three study rooms, and an Opportunity Room. Additionally, new furniture, shelving, computers, books, and a dedicated external restroom accessible for pickleball players and families at the playground or the volleyball court will be incorporated. The new library will have a transformative impact on the community, opening doors to expanded opportunities and a brighter future. Stay tuned for more updates as this incredible project progresses.
