The event will begin with a welcoming ceremony, followed by a tribute to the American flag, Old Glory, recognized globally as a symbol of freedom and democracy. Afterward, there will be a flag retirement ceremony where worn and damaged American flags will be properly retired by burning. This ceremony will be conducted by the Corona Elks Lodge 2045, in collaboration with both American Legion Posts of Corona. Boy Scout Troops and a Cub Scout Pack from Corona will assist in the proceedings.
