Back in August, Supervisor Spiegel represented the Santa Ana River Conservancy program alongside dedicated members of the local advisory group. The team took their commitment and passion to Sacramento, fighting tooth and nail for the inclusion of the SARCON program in a pivotal natural resources bond.

Projects, such as establishing urban parks like Riverview in Santa Ana, completing the remaining segments of the Santa Ana River Trail, restoring the ecological balance of the riverbed, and bolstering groundwater recharge, have been some of Supervisor Spiegel's highest priorities.
