Last week, Supervisor Spiegel had the privilege to attend and speak at the Jamil Dada Character Excellence Youth Awards. This event, hosted by the Riverside County Workforce Development Board, is a celebration honoring the strength, determination, and resilience that define the community's youth.

Each year, Riverside County pays tribute to young people who have shown exemplary character while overcoming some of life's most significant challenges. Despite their difficult and sometimes tragic situations, these remarkable individuals have proven themselves as community leaders, committed to earning their high school diplomas and pursuing higher education.
