Fallen 13

Five years later, the courage and sacrifice of the Fallen 13 remain firmly in our hearts.
Supervisor Spiegel's office gathered with the Southern California Patriot Guard Riders, Gold Star families, veterans, and community members at Norco’s Fallen 13 Memorial Flower Garden for a candlelight vigil honoring the 13 U.S. service members killed in Afghanistan on August 26, 2021. Following the vigil, participants walked 1.3 miles with United 13, carrying the memory of each fallen hero forward.
Supervisor Spiegel's will continue to speak their names, honor their families, and remember the extraordinary sacrifice they made in service to our country.
