Temescal Valley Trucking and Mining Roundtable

Supervisor Spiegel's office recently hosted the second Temescal Valley Trucking and Mining Roundtable, continuing the conversation we began in February about issues affecting residents, roadway operations, and the trucking and mining industries.
Participants discussed truck traffic along the I-15 corridor and Temescal Canyon, current mining operations, transportation challenges, and opportunities to improve coordination between Riverside County and local operators. These are complex issues, and meaningful progress requires honest discussion, continued engagement, and a willingness to consider the needs of both the community and the businesses that support our regional economy.
