Supervisor Spiegel at Cal State San Marcos Temecula Campus Community Breakfast!
June 30, 2026
This morning, Supervisor Spiegel joined regional leaders from government, education, business, healthcare, and community organizations at the Cal State San Marcos Temecula Campus Community Breakfast as part of the Southwest Higher Education Coalition's ongoing work.
The Coalition brings together partners committed to expanding higher education opportunities throughout Southwest Riverside County, including communities in the Second District such as Canyon Lake and Lake Elsinore. Through collaboration with institutions like Cal State San Marcos and Mt. San Jacinto College, we are working to strengthen educational pathways, prepare our future workforce, and advance the long-term vision of bringing expanded university opportunities, including a future UC presence, closer to the residents we serve.
Supervisor Spiegel was proud that Riverside County has been a strong partner in these efforts, and I remain committed to supporting initiatives that increase access to higher education, strengthen our regional economy, and create more opportunities for future generations.
Thank you to President Ellen Neufeldt, the Cal State San Marcos team, and all of our regional partners for your continued collaboration and shared commitment to investing in the future of Southwest Riverside County.
