Supervisor Spiegel's Team at verside County Department of Public Social Services for the 2026 Elder & Dependent Adult Abuse Symposium!

Supervisor Spiegel's team was pleased to join the Riverside County Department of Public Social Services for the 2026 Elder & Dependent Adult Abuse Symposium, bringing together hundreds of professionals and community partners committed to protecting some of our county's most vulnerable residents.
We had the opportunity to hear from keynote speaker Dr. Laura Mosqueda, Professor of Family Medicine, Geriatrics, and Gerontology at the Keck School of Medicine of USC, whose expertise and insights reinforced the importance of recognizing abuse, improving intervention efforts, and ensuring older adults and dependent individuals receive the care, dignity, and protection they deserve.
