Supervisor Spiegel at Girl Scouts of San Gorgonio Council's 2026 Gold Award Gala

Supervisor Spiegel was honored to attend the Girl Scouts of San Gorgonio Council's 2026 Gold Award Gala and celebrate six outstanding young women from our communities who earned the Gold Award, Girl Scouting's highest achievement.
The Gold Award represents months of dedication, leadership, innovation, and service. Each recipient identified a community need and developed a sustainable solution through a project that created a meaningful and lasting impact. Fewer than six percent of eligible Girl Scouts nationwide earn this prestigious honor, making this accomplishment truly remarkable.
It was inspiring to hear about the difference these young leaders are making and to celebrate their commitment to strengthening our communities. Their passion, perseverance, and willingness to serve others give me great confidence in Riverside County's future.
Congratulations to all of this year's Gold Award recipients, as well as the families, mentors, and Girl Scout volunteers who supported them along the way. Thank you to the Girl Scouts of San Gorgonio Council for continuing to empower young women to lead with courage, confidence, and character.
