National Volunteer Month
April 16, 2026
Supervisor Spiegel and her colleagues recognized April as National Volunteer Month and celebrated the incredible individuals and organizations who give their time to strengthen our communities.
Each Supervisorial District had the opportunity to honor a Volunteer or Non-Profit Organization of the Year, and I am proud to recognize Palbinder Badesha as the Second District’s 2026 Volunteer of the Year. Through decades of service, leadership, and advocacy, Palbinder has made a lasting impact in Riverside County, from workforce development and business leadership to supporting veterans and uplifting local families. Her lifelong commitment to serving others truly reflects the spirit of volunteerism and community stewardship we celebrate this month.
