2026 Riverside County State of Education Address

Investing in education means investing in the future of Riverside County. Supervisor Spiegel had the opportunity to join educators, community leaders, and partners from across the region for the 2026 Riverside County State of Education Address presented by Riverside County Superintendent of Schools Edwin Gomez, Ed.D.
Held at the Riverside Convention Center, the annual address highlights the progress being made in preparing students across Riverside County to be ready for college, careers, and more. The event also featured a Career Technical Education Showcase, highlighting programs that equip students with the real-world skills and training needed to succeed in today’s workforce. 
Education plays a critical role in strengthening our communities and preparing the next generation of leaders, innovators, and skilled professionals. I appreciate the work of the Riverside County Office of Education and our school districts for their continued commitment to supporting students and ensuring every young person has the opportunity to succeed.
