Preparedness starts with people-from hands-on training exercises to real teamwork in action, our CERT members are learning the skills that help keep our community safe when it matters most.
CERT training equips residents with essential disaster response knowledge, including basic fire safety, light search and rescue, medical operations, and team organization. When emergencies happen, and professional responders may be stretched thin, CERT members are ready to step in and help their neighbors.
Whether it’s practicing scenarios, working together as a team, or supporting emergency response efforts, CERT volunteers truly live by the motto:
“Doing the greatest good, for the greatest number.”
