Supervisor Karen Spiegel Host Operation Green Light for 4th Year in a Row

November 6, 2025

The community came together in a powerful way for the Operation Green Light Ceremony for Veterans. Supervisor Karen Spiegel extends appreciation to everyone who attended, including the colleagues who stood together in support of the men and women who have served the nation.

Operation Green Light is a nationwide effort led by the National Association of Counties. Each year, counties across the country shine green lights to show appreciation, raise awareness of the challenges veterans face, and ensure that every veteran knows their service is seen and valued. In Riverside County, this responsibility is taken seriously. Lighting the Administration Center in green is a simple act with a meaningful message: veterans are never forgotten, and the County’s commitment to them continues long after their service ends.

Supervisor Spiegel also thanks everyone who helped make this year’s ceremony a success.
