District Two Team Assists Residents of Woodcrest with SoCalGas Error

The District Two team worked with SoCalGas to assist Woodcrest residents who reported mistakenly receiving a "Riverside City Users Tax" fee on their bills even though they do not reside within the City of Riverside.
Upon further research, SoCalGas noticed that their billing program showed that some Woodcrest residents were charged this fee due to a computer error occurring since 2021. Once our office brought this to SoCalGas' attention, they corrected the error in their system. As a result, residents on the unincorporated side of Mariposa Avenue will now receive a refund applied to their SoCalGas bill in their next billing cycle.
