Supervisor Spiegel Commends Riverside County Probation Department for Leadership in Juvenile Justice Reform

Alongside her colleagues, Supervisor Spiegel recognized the Riverside County Probation Department for their presentation on transforming juvenile probation during the last Board meeting. The department, in collaboration with partnering agencies, took part in the Transforming Juvenile Probation Certification Program at Georgetown University in DC. This program aimed to provide guidance to state and local teams in fundamentally reshaping their probation systems. Riverside County Probation was selected as one of only five agencies to participate, based on its successful collaborative strategies and leadership in reforming the juvenile justice system in Riverside.
