Supervisor Karen Spiegel Attends Remembrance Day/Patriot Day Ceremonies

On September 11, 2022, Supervisor Karen Spiegel attended Remembrance Ceremonies held in the cities of Jurupa Valley, Eastvale, Corona, and Norco.
The VFW Post 10267 Jurupa held its Annual 9-11 Remembrance Ceremony bright and early at 5:30 am. The ceremony was followed by a lovely breakfast sponsored by Councilmember Lorena Barajas Bisbee, JARPD Director Kim Jarrell Johnson, JARPD Director Ross Leja, JUSD President Melissa Ragole, JUSD Trustee Robert Garcia and RCSD President Hank Trueba.
The City of Eastvale held its Memorial Ceremony at Fire Station 27. Supervisor Spiegel assembled with Eastvale Planning Commissioner Chris Raahauge, RSO Lieutenant Boydd, RSO deputies, Mayor Clint Lorimore, Western Municipal Water District Director Fauzia Rizvi, Mayor Pro Tem Todd Rigby, the Young Miss Eastvale, and many others.
Corona's 20th Anniversary Commemoration Ceremony was held at the Corona Historic Civic Center at 8:15 am. The community came together to honor and remember the 2,977 people who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
The City of Norco held its Patriot Day at 8:30 am at Fire Station 47 in Norco. See all the pictures below!
