Riverside County's Second District Rotary Clubs Come Together for a Cause

May 1, 2023

Four local Rotary Clubs - united by a common cause - came together to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate in our community. Rotary Club members from Eastvale, Norco, Corona, and Circle City clubs, together with a myriad of volunteers, including Supervisor Karen Spiegel, dedicated their time and effort to pack food for individuals and families in need.

Spiegel didn't hesitate to roll up her sleeves and participate. Her involvement not only served as a moral boost for the volunteers but also echoed the importance of community involvement in addressing local needs.

"We're not just packing food. We're packing hope," Supervisor Spiegel remarked, emphasizing the impact of this initiative. "Every box is a message to someone in our community that they are seen, they are cared for, and they are not alone."

This event is a testament to the power of unity and collective action. The Rotary Clubs' commitment to service, coupled with the support from Supervisor Spiegel and other community volunteers, resulted in hundreds of food boxes ready to be distributed to those who need them most.

Thank you to all those that volunteered their time and helped with this initiative.
