Riverside County Youth & Government Day Engages Future Leaders

Youth Advisory Council (YAC) members from all five districts stepped into the world of public service during Riverside County’s Youth & Government Day, gaining firsthand experience in local government operations. The event paired young participants with government employees, providing insight into various roles, from policy-making to public safety.

The program highlighted the importance of civic engagement, offering students a unique opportunity to explore leadership and community service. County officials and Youth Advisory Coordinators played a key role in mentoring the participants, emphasizing the value of public service in shaping the region’s future.
