RivCoParks joined Supervisor Spiegel in accepting a NACo Best in Category Award for the Santa Ana River Bottom Collaborative Website. Utilizing GIS technology, the RivCoParks Santa Ana River Bottom (SARB) Unit enhances efforts to track and manage encampments while providing vital services to unhoused individuals. Supervisor Karen Spiegel emphasized the website's role in enhancing collaboration: "GIS technology supports our homeless outreach providers by improving data sharing and service delivery. We're proud of the SARB Unit's innovative approach to community enhancement."
