Regional Women’s Conference Empowers Leaders in the Water Industry

Industry professionals gathered for the Regional Half-Day Women’s Conference hosted by the Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District’s (EVMWD) Advancing Women in Water and Wastewater Leadership Academy. The event provided a platform for women in the water industry to develop leadership skills and expand their professional growth.
The conference centered on The ARTE of Leadership, a framework presented by Ro Woidyla, designed to equip women with essential tools for career advancement. Attendees discussed leadership development, mentorship, and the challenges facing women in the field.
The event, organized in collaboration with EVMWD and the California Municipal Utilities Association (CMUA), underscored the importance of supporting and empowering women in leadership roles.
