Mission Boulevard Bridge Project

Investing in infrastructure is investing in the safety and connectivity of our communities.
Supervisor Spiegel joined regional partners to break ground on the Mission Boulevard Bridge Project, a major improvement that will replace a 70-year-old, seismically deficient bridge over the Santa Ana River. This project strengthens a critical connection between Jurupa Valley and Riverside while bringing the structure up to current safety standards.
Once complete, the new bridge will feature four lanes, a multi-purpose trail, and increased elevation to improve flood protection, helping ensure safer, more reliable access for everyone who travels this corridor.
