Kicking Off the School Year with Color and Community in Lakeland Village

The Supervisor and our District 2 Team partnered with the 100 Mile Club to host this year’s Color Run, a lively event designed to bring families and friends together for 30 minutes of movement and fun.

More than 80 participants, ranging in age from infants to great-grandparents, came out to run, walk, and celebrate the start of the school year. The energy was contagious, and by the end of the day, everyone was covered in a rainbow of color.

The event was made possible through the support of our local partners: Lakeland Village Fire Department, MC Carlos SE, Freedom Fitness, Nutrition Shop, Special Strong, American Legion Chapter 200, and Yoga with Angelia.
