An Insightful Tour of the Flood Control 'Line H Project' in Lakeland Village

June 29, 2023

Supervisor Spiegel had the opportunity to tour a substantial infrastructure project currently underway in our community: the Flood Control "Line H Project" in Lakeland Village. The visit provided an eye-opening perspective on this project's scale and potential impact.

The key aim of the Line H Project is to effectively control and manage flood risks by diverting approximately 90% of the water runoff from the hills surrounding our community. This strategic effort demonstrates a remarkable blend of engineering and foresight.

From the tour, it was evident that this initiative is not only about controlling flooding. It's about ensuring the safety of our neighborhoods, preserving our properties, and ultimately improving the quality of life for all residents in Lakeland Village.

Stay tuned for more updates on the progress of the Line H Project as we strive for a better, safer, and more sustainable Lakeland Village.
