Honoring Tradition and Community at Congregation Beth Shalom’s Legacy Luncheon
March 25, 2025
It was a true honor for Supervisor Spiegel to join Congregation Beth Shalom for their 18th Annual Legacy Luncheon — a heartfelt celebration of those who go above and beyond to uplift the community.
Each year, this special event recognizes individuals and organizations whose dedication to service, leadership, and tradition reflect the core values of Judaism. Congratulations to this year’s honorees:
Karen Alexander received the Shomer Tzedek Award (Guardian of Righteousness). Don Kindred received the Shatuf Tzedek Award (Business Partner Award). A very special congratulations to Supervisor Spiegel’s daughter, Tanya Spiegel, recipient of the Legacy Award — her commitment to community and deep respect for tradition continue to inspire.
Thank you to Congregation Beth Shalom for hosting such a meaningful event and for continuing to foster a spirit of connection, generosity, and legacy.
