Gala Evening Shines Spotlight on Lake Norconian’s Historic Legacy

A night of glamour and purpose unfolded at the Lake Norconian Club Foundation’s annual gala fundraiser, A Night with the Norconian Stars. The event brought together community members, preservation advocates, and local leaders to celebrate the rich history of the Lake Norconian Club and raise critical awareness for its restoration.
Supervisor Spiegel was honored to attend and support the Foundation’s ongoing mission. Initially opened in 1929 as a lavish resort for Hollywood’s elite and later repurposed as a naval hospital during World War II, the Lake Norconian Club remains one of Norco’s most treasured landmarks.
The Lake Norconian Club Foundation, a dedicated nonprofit, is working to preserve and protect the site’s natural and historical resources. Through continued fundraising and community involvement, the Foundation aims to ensure this piece of Norco’s heritage is not lost to time.
