First 5 Riverside County Celebrates 25 Years of Championing Early Childhood Development

Community leaders, advocates, and County representatives came together to celebrate a significant milestone: the 25th anniversary of First 5 Riverside County. The Second District team was proud to attend the event, which honored the enduring message that “Tiny Hands Hold the Future.”
The celebration highlighted First 5’s ongoing commitment to the healthy development of the county’s youngest residents. Guests heard from First 5 leadership, Supervisor Chuck Washington, and keynote speaker Dr. Dowell Myers, a professor and demographer from the USC Price School of Public Policy, who shared thoughts on what the next 25 years may hold for children and families.
