Supervisor Karen Spiegel was honored to join the Corona-Norco Unified School District Board of Education during a recent board meeting dedicated to recognition and celebration.

Congratulations  to the 2025 CIF Southern California Regional Division State Champions representing Santiago High School, Roosevelt High School, Centennial High School, Corona High School, and Norco High School. These remarkable student-athletes were celebrated for their accomplishments in Boys and Girls Wrestling, Soccer, and Boys Basketball. Their dedication, hard work, and sportsmanship continue to bring pride to the community.

The evening also included a special moment to once again recognize Francesca Rife as the 2025 Riverside County Second District Woman of the Year. As a passionate educator and Art Walk Coordinator, Rife has made a lasting impact on students and the arts community. Supervisor Spiegel and her colleagues had the pleasure of first honoring her during the Board of Supervisors meeting in March, and it was a joy to celebrate her again in partnership with the CNUSD School Board.
