District Two Attends National EMS Memorial

Our District Two team observed the National EMS Memorial in Riverside. This memorial service was established 30+ years ago to recognize EMS and air medical providers who died in the line of duty.
While there are permanent national memorials for both Fire and Police in Washington DC, there is no national EMS memorial to recognize EMS providers who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
A temporary memorial was created that lists the names of those honored each year. This year, the decision was made to transport the "Tree of Life" memorial across the country.
Riverside, California, was honored as the starting point for this inaugural full cross-country moving honors memorial.
