Supervisor Karen Spiegel had the privilege of joining the Department of Public Social Services for the 17th Annual Riverside County Adoption Finalization Day at the Historic Courthouse, where the joy in the room was impossible to miss. Watching children step into permanent, loving homes is one of the most meaningful experiences she has the honor of witnessing as a County Supervisor.

Supervisor Spiegel emphasized that adoption brings healing, stability, and renewed hope for both children and families, stating that every parent who finalized an adoption that day made a lifelong commitment to love, guide, and protect their child, and that this commitment deserves recognition. She added that there is no greater responsibility or privilege than raising a child.

She congratulated all the families who finalized their adoptions and expressed her gratitude for their willingness to open their hearts and create homes where children will grow up safe, supported, and deeply loved.
