The City of Corona, in partnership with Riverside County and Curative Inc., is providing free COVID-19 testing to ALL residents via a Mobile Testing Site, whether or not you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.
The Curative test is a simple-to-use, 100% contactless, oral fluid COVID-19 test that can be rapidly scaled to enable widespread access to testing to keep our communities and employees safe. The test is self-administered, painless, and has clinical accuracy of ~90% and 100% specificity. The Curative oral-fluid swab test is an alternative method to nasopharyngeal (NP) or nasal swabs in testing for COVID-19. The oral fluid sampling method tests for the presence of virus in both the respiratory tract and the oral cavity. The entire test is done without having to come into close contact with others. The test is free, whether or not you have insurance. If you have insurance, the provider may bill your insurance carrier for the cost of the test. By law, the insurance company may not charge you any co-pay, deductible, or any out-of-pocket expense for the test.
