Corona Firefighters' Auto Extrication Seminar Marks 45th Year with Unprecedented Turnout and Training Excellence

March 7, 2024

Supervisor Spiegel had the privilege of attending the 45th Annual Corona Fire Auto-X, a monumental event that drew over 50 fire departments and more than 160 firefighters. Spanning three days, this seminar is a rigorous training ground dedicated to the crucial skill of auto extrication - the art of safely removing a vehicle from around a patient.

The dedication and skill displayed were nothing short of inspirational. The Corona Firefighters' Auto Extrication Seminar is a testament to our firefighters' commitment to saving lives, offering what many have hailed as "the best extrication training in the nation." It's a place where heroes refine their skills to ensure the safety of our communities.

A heartfelt thank you to the Riverside Transit Agency and CEO Kristin Warsinski for their generous donation of a bus for training purposes, further enhancing the realism and effectiveness of the drills. Their support underscores the power of community and collaboration in fostering safety and preparedness.
