Collaboration in Action at the 2026 Second District Homeless Symposium

February 23, 2026

Real progress starts with honest conversations and shared responsibility. Supervisor Spiegel's office hosted the 2026 Second District Homeless Symposium at Norco College, convening leaders from Second District cities, Riverside County departments, service providers, and community partners for a focused discussion on solutions.

The annual symposium is designed to move beyond discussion and into coordination. Participants examined which strategies are producing results, where service gaps remain, and how local and County agencies can better align efforts to transition individuals from homelessness into stable housing with the supportive services necessary for long-term success.

Addressing homelessness requires sustained collaboration, clear accountability, and a willingness to adapt. By bringing stakeholders to the same table each year, Supervisor Spiegel reinforces a shared commitment to measurable progress and stronger outcomes for communities across the Second District.
