Child Support Awareness Month in Riverside County!

Every child deserves the opportunity to thrive.

Earlier this week, Supervisor Spiegel and her colleagues presented a proclamation recognizing August 2026 as Child Support Awareness Month in Riverside County. We were proud to recognize the Department of Child Support Services and its more than 400 dedicated professionals who help children and families build greater financial stability.

The department manages more than 70,000 cases, has helped secure healthcare coverage for over 34,000 children, and has collected and distributed more than $185 million in child support payments. These efforts provide critical financial and medical support while connecting families with valuable services and resources.
