Earlier this week, Supervisor Spiegel attended the Blue Zones Riverside Project launch event, an exciting initiative aimed at helping the community live longer, healthier, and happier lives. The Blue Zones Project is based on research from communities around the world where people experience longer lives with lower rates of chronic disease. Riverside University Health System (RUHS) Public Health, along with local leaders, is collaborating with Blue Zones to activate Riverside, Banning, Mead Valley, French Valley, Corona, and Coachella as healthier places to live, work, grow up, and grow old.
