RUHS Foundation will raise awareness and funds in the fight against child abuse during the month of April for “Pinwheels of Hope – Powered by RUHS”. The on-campus kickoff event will be on Thursday, April 2 from 11:00-1:30PM at the weekly RUHS Farmer’s Market in front of the Marion and Mary Ashley Health Education and Conference Center.

During the event, donors who give a minimum of $10 will receive a pinwheel to plant in the stairwell area adjacent to the Education Building or take to plant at home. All visitors are encouraged to take photos, connect with campaign sponsors at their booths, and learn more about the importance and impact of the Pinwheels of Hope campaign. All funds raised will go toward ensuring the county’s youngest residents are safe and protected against the trauma of abuse.

All are welcome to participate in the event by donating, planting a pinwheel, and by wearing blue clothing.

Just $10 makes the difference in the life of a child.
