Memorial Mile March
904 East 6th Street, Corona, CA 92879

Event Details
The CORONA Chamber Foundation will host its annual Memorial Mile March, a free community event dedicated to honoring all fallen military service members. Over the years, community members have walked to pay tribute to veterans and remember loved ones who served.
This year’s march will begin at the CORONA Chamber offices, located at 904 East 6th Street, Corona, CA 92879. Registration check-in begins at 8:00 AM, followed by a brief ceremony at 8:45 AM honoring this year’s Grand Marshal, Don Kindred. The walk will start at 9:00 AM and conclude at the Historic Civic Center (815 West 6th Street, Corona, CA 92882), where participants will place American flags—each bearing the name of a fallen service member—into designated grounds arranged in the shape of the United States. Most names represent local heroes, from World War I through today.
Blank placards will also be available for those wishing to honor a specific loved one. Following the walk, Don Kindred will address the audience, accompanied by a special tribute to all who have given their lives in service to our nation. Families, organizations, churches, and companies are encouraged to participate, with attendees invited to wear red, white, and blue in solidarity. To maintain the event’s dignity and purpose, campaign shirts and signage are not permitted. There is no cost to join, and donations are welcome.
