You’re invited to the Friends of Veterans 2025 Annual Convening on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at the March Field Air Museum in Riverside. The event will begin with breakfast at 8:30 AM, followed by a panel program from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Centered around the theme "Putting Veterans of the Solution at the Center," this convening will feature a special welcome from Riverside County Second District Supervisor Karen Spiegel and will be hosted by Gregory Coffos, MBA, MOL, Director of Veterans Services at RivCo CVSO.

The program will include guest speakers such as James Zenner, Director of Military & Veterans Affairs for Los Angeles County; Dr. Jonathan Sherin, Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and Bio-behavioral Sciences at UCLA; and Dr. Tina Atherall, CEO of the PsychArmor Institute. Attendees will take part in a panel discussion highlighting proven community-based solutions for veterans, with insights into LA County’s peer-to-peer model and strategies for building a veteran-ready community in Riverside County.
