District 2 Supports Habitat for Humanity’s Playhouse Blitz Building Memories and Making a Difference

District 2 proudly joined Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley for their annual Playhouse Blitz at Storm Stadium in Lake Elsinore. This one-of-a-kind event combined community service with creativity and a touch of fun.

Teams from across the region came together to design and build custom playhouses, each one destined for donation to local families, schools, and nonprofit organizations. The event concluded with a night at the ballpark, as participants stayed to cheer on the Lake Elsinore Storm during their themed "Prom Night" game, with the finished playhouses showcased throughout the stadium.

Supervisor Spiegel’s team was honored to take part in this impactful experience and commends Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley for fostering community spirit while supporting meaningful causes.
