Historic Settlement House Reimagined Through Community Collaboration
May 29, 2025
A cherished landmark in the City of Corona is stepping confidently into the future thanks to the dedicated efforts of local leaders and volunteers. The recently revitalized Settlement House Thrift Store welcomed guests for the annual Hope and Renewal Food Drive, a heartfelt event that celebrated both community service and the power of transformation.
The restoration of the Settlement House was part of the Corona Chamber of Commerce’s Executive Leadership Roundtable project. Participants focused on preserving the site’s original character while ensuring it remains a functional and welcoming space for the community. Improvements included fresh paint, enhanced landscaping, strategic board development, and volunteer recruitment to strengthen the organization’s foundation for years.
The food drive event brought together generous donors, committed volunteers, and community members who share the goal of uplifting others. Their support stocked shelves and served as a reminder of the incredible impact collective action can have.
Thank you to everyone who contributed their time, resources, and energy to this meaningful project. The Settlement House symbolizes hope, renewal, and our region's enduring spirit of service.
