Supervisor Spiegel was honored to speak at the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Santa Ana River Trail Wayfinding Project, marking a transformative step forward in improving accessibility and safety along one of Southern California’s most significant regional trails.
The project, which was made possible through ARPA funding and in partnership with city, agency, and community stakeholders, led to the installation of more than 230 new wayfinding elements along 20 miles of the trail in Riverside County. These additions include trail maps, kiosks, interpretive panels, and safety markers designed to enhance navigation while celebrating the cultural and environmental significance of the Santa Ana River.
