Bright and early, Supervisor Spiegel started her Patriot Day at Jurupa Valley’s VFW Post 10267 for their annual Patriot Day commemoration. Each year, this solemn event aligns with the exact time the first plane struck the North Tower at 5:46 a.m., serving as a powerful reminder of the tragic events that unfolded 23 years ago. As attendees stood united in reflection, they remembered the innocent lives lost, the heroes who emerged, and the enduring strength of a nation forever changed.
